Installation

How to install B-POX

The key guidelines from B-POX. Follow them carefully for a durable result.

  1. Sub-base

    A permeable sub-base with sufficient load-bearing capacity, with a fall of at least 2% away from the building.

  2. Preparing the joints

    Clean dirty paving with water beforehand. Blow out or hose narrow joints if needed, without leaving water standing in them. Mask adjoining surfaces.

  3. Adding water

    Stick to the specified amount of water and add it before mixing, never after. Too much water makes the mortar less stable.

  4. Temperature

    Heat shortens working and curing time: you may then add about 2% extra water, also before mixing. Cold and damp extend them.
